Your photographs are not our data. SelectRAW processes your selections and originals locally.

Local file processing

File scanning, screenshot filename recognition, RAW/JPEG matching and optional quality checks take place on your Mac. Selected files remain on your Mac or in the storage locations you choose. SelectRAW does not upload your photographs, screenshots, recognised filenames or project paths to Monsieurs Made.

Optional quality checks and Finder tags

Blur analyses an available local image preview. Duplicate and File Check can calculate file hashes locally. These image previews, hashes and quality results are not sent to us or to Lemon Squeezy. When a check flags a destination file, SelectRAW can add a named Finder tag while preserving its existing tags. Source originals are not modified by these checks.

Preferences and access to folders

SelectRAW stores preferences and permissions for folders you explicitly choose locally on the Mac, so approved locations can be accessed again. It does not use an advertising network, behavioural analytics SDK or cloud photo-analysis service.

Mac App Store purchases

Apple handles App Store purchases, installation and updates. This version does not ask for a separate SelectRAW account or a Lemon Squeezy licence key. Apple handles purchase and platform information under its own privacy policy. Any platform-level diagnostics depend on your Apple settings; this is separate from SelectRAW’s local file processing.

Direct purchases and licence activation

For direct purchases, Lemon Squeezy provides checkout, receipts, order downloads and licence keys. It processes the customer and payment information needed for the transaction under its own policies. Monsieurs Made can access order information needed to provide support and manage software licences.

The direct-download app sends the licence key and the necessary activation-instance details to Lemon Squeezy for activation, validation and deactivation. Instance details may include a generated identifier and a device/instance name. An existing server-issued instance ID is used to manage an activation. Licence credentials and activation state are stored in the macOS Keychain.

After activation the app can work offline. It periodically attempts to validate the licence; a temporary network failure does not block an already activated app. No photographs, screenshots, image hashes, filenames or project paths are sent to Lemon Squeezy.

Windows availability waitlist

When you submit your email through the Windows waitlist, Monsieurs Made receives it through Netlify Forms. We use the address to notify you when SelectRAW for Windows becomes available, not to automatically subscribe you to a general newsletter. The form also sends its form identifier and an anti-spam field. Netlify may process technical request information to host the site and protect form submissions.

Website and support

This website does not add advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or embedded social-media trackers. Our hosting provider, Netlify, may process normal server/request information. Links to Apple and Lemon Squeezy take you to their services and policies. When you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond to your request. Do not send private photos or licence keys unless support specifically requires them through an appropriate channel.
